Welcome

Even 18 years after the first idea, developed at Jackys restaurant Middlestation, over 400 riders from all over the world gather in Stuben powder heaven and tribute to the roots of snowboarding.

Thank you for keeping the spirit of snowboarding alive and welcome to the Woodstock of Snowboarding, in the winter of Love, 1th April 2017 in Stuben.

  • LBC MASTERS (women / men)

    Women: boards longer than 162 cm / Men: boards longer than 172 cm.
    For pros and very experienced riders.

    LBC NO SCHOOL (women / men)

    Board length does NOT matter. Ride with friends and lots of story telling afterwards.

    LBC OLD SCHOOL (women / men)

    Boards older than 1990 (we don't take that too serious)
    In all categories women participants will start 5 min. prior to men.

    the registration office is located in the event tent and opens at 07.30 am - closes at 10.30 am (approx. 1 min away from parking). We would like you to confirm your participation on Facebook.

    Kids up to 16 years or Arlberg season pass € 30, the rest € 50, including

Start between 12:00 - 13:00 pm, depending of the clearance of the mountain through the avalance commission. The entire race is off-piste. Chinese downhill with a 200 m LeMans run/start. Start: Albonagrat (2408 m) // Finish: Stuben village(1407 m)
Insurance
is the responsability of each participant. The Longboard Classic declines liability in the event of any injury. You accept the risk as your own while participating in the LBC. We recommend to wear a helmet and avalanche transceiver.

IMPORTANT

Start and Transfer
To start on time it is very important that you leave the event area one hour before the start. The transfer with 3 chair lifts including a small walk takes you approx. 45 minutes.

The event will take place regardless of weather conditions (rain, snow, fog, sun shine) and when the avalanche commission has cleared the mountain and opened the slopes. Change of race course possible.

ARRIVAL

by car
Coming from the Lake of Constance (Bodensee) on the Autobahn (A 14 – direction Innsbruck), go towards Feldkirch, Bludenz, Klostertal, before the Arlberg tunnel, turn right towards “Arlbergpass” and you will arrive in Stuben after 3 km.

Coming from Innsbruck on the Autobahn (A 12) direction Bregenz, turn right at St. Anton am Arlberg and take the Arlberg pass and it will lead direct to Stuben

by train
The train station is only 3 km away in the town of Langen am Arlberg (international express train station). You can take either the bus or a taxi to Stuben.
